Out of Order/Maintenance
9/1: All appliances are in good working order. If you notice anything not working correctly, please call the on-call phone number!
Computer Instructions
If you are the closing volunteer for the day, please do not power down any part of the computer when you leave. It’s not necessary and can make it difficult for the morning volunteer to open!
Recurring Shifts Available
We have a few recurring shifts that need either a weekly or biweekly volunteer! If you have any interest in any of the shifts below, please reach out to familyroom@rmhcstl.org and we can chat about it! Thank you!!
Every other Monday: 12-3pm, 6-9pm
Every other Tuesday: 6-9pm
Every other Wednesday: 9am-12pm
Every other Thursday: 6-9pm
Every other Friday: 9am-12pm
Every other Saturday: 12-3pm
Every other Sunday: 6-9pm
Logging Volunteer Hours
Having issues with signing in or out of your volunteer shift while in the RMFR or did you forget to sign in or out? Please email the SLCH Volunteer Office as they are the ones who track hours and have access to helping you! slchvolunteer@bjc.org
Did something stop working?
If something stops working and needs to be placed "OUT OF ORDER" during your shift, please call the on-call phone number (314-930-5292) or email familyroom@rmhcstl.org
IMMEDIATELY! Your communication is the ONLY way we will know that something is broken and needs to be repaired or replaced.

Badging Issues
Please contact the SLCH Volunteer Office at slchvolunteer@bjc.org to let them know. The SLCH Volunteer Office Staff are the only ones with the ability to help with badging issues, not the Family Room Staff.
Importance of Signing In + Out
Volunteer Services goes through their list of volunteers periodically to deactivate those who have gone more than 90 days without logging hours. Even if you have volunteered with us, the hospital does not know this if you don’t sign in and out, so please make sure to do this before and after your shift to avoid any confusion!
